MARTIN LUTHER KING'S MURDER REMAINS A MYSTERY

On the fourth of April, 1968 I was at work in a Bookshop in Toronto when a Black man entered the shop, came up to me and said, with tears in his eyes, “he’s dead”. I knew immediately, by the tone of his voice and the expression on his face, who he meant. Martin Luther King had just been murdered in cold blood. That was 40 years ago today…. a black day on the history of mankind… a testimony to man’s inhumanity to man. more...
